Evolution Management gives individuals project management
tools to ensure they are optimally allocating their time, and unlike most time
management and management accounting tools, Evolution Management can manage
non-market activity.

www.Greensaver.org's Home Audit -
suggestions/critique
Why have I not invested in implementing Greensaver's Home Audit recommendations?
Here is the Business Case needed by Greensaver to get changes
implemented.
+ Greensaver should have been able to tell me: your fridge costs $90 in
electricity per year, therefore a replacement fridge would pay for itself
(considering 'the time value of money') in 8 years, and the ecological cost of
producing and shipping a new fridge would be offset by the ecological benefit of
reduced energy use in 5 years. Considering all the other opportunities for
allocating your time and money, a new fridge still pays for
itself. Instead, Greensaver didn't mention
appliances. Nor did they mention tuckpointing (mortar between bricks) or
anything exterior.
- Ecological Computing
What role do computers play in developing an
ecological economy?
Where can you get ecological computing consultants/kits?
How can you sell Ecological Computing to your
employer/acquaintance/supplier?
-Telecommuting, Netmeeting (share documents and make changes online, while
speaking and/or seeing each other - even if others don't have the documents'
software!)
-Bell's eMarketing and eBilling - great!
-Fax-to-email instead of fax-to-fax
-Windows' File Manager meets Database Design - sort and search files by
customizable categories, such as composer, performer, title, genre, purpose,
principal project, related projects.
-Database Design so users (internal + clients + management) can have the
info they want when they want it. Clients should not have to wait for
you to prepare reports and you should not have to spend time preparing
reports for your clients; design your system so clients can access
appropriate sections to see real-time summaries of your progress.
- Unlike paper, electronic files can be filed in more than one location at
the same time - under different categories (by client, by best time to call,
by urgency) and can be used by different people, not in an individual's
drawer or a common drawer from which individuals must retrieve it.
WorldCom, which presents itself as being super-efficient thanks to the
implementation of I.T., was woefully wasteful (paper & ink, time,
morale). I.E. implemented a set of changes, and is preparing to
propose another set. See details. (not yet active)
- "Meet Your Neighbours" Community Mapping Online Matchmaking
It's strange - you travel across town to attend classes in cooking, gardening, dancing, carpentry, electronics, or music,
or you commute to work, when your neighbourhood is filled with people seeking the same things as you.
Now you can meet and collaborate/party!
- Your Time is Too Valuable to do Chores! When
faced with a new challenge, doing-it-yourself expands your abilities and
your intelligence. When faced with the same-old chore, viewing it as a
grounding, holistically-healthy ritual can make it a rewarding, worthwhile
activity. Sometimes, however, the world needs you to [spend your time]
on your earth-healing activities, and to leave the chores to someone
else. [This project is not resolved conceptually - we welcome your
input. Here's what we have attained so far:] Fortunately, this
does not require hiring someone to do an activity they dislike and only do
for money. To live fulfilling lives, we want to spend our time on the
most worthwhile activities. For some of us, we are most fulfilled when
we do someone else's chores so they can do great work. Together
Everyone Accomplishes More (TEAM). Inspired Economies provides that
matchmaking database.
